My new private client today asked if I wanted to reschedule until I was feeling better. The question was really kind & I truly appreciate anyone who asks about my needs. With my work being so giving, it’s nice to have it turned around towards me. However, I have to say: I share so openly here on social media, because I want to inspire you to own your true feelings, to embrace this moment, however wonderful or challenging or fun or boring. This moment is all we truly have... & to honor & savor it, in whatever form it takes, is power.💥

I also share about my hardships because it takes guts & courage & resiliency to keep going with chronic pain, to face past traumas & move forward & I want my struggles & triumphs to be your inspiration: we can do this together, when we call it like it is. I think of my work not only as therapy for you, but for myself: each struggle I overcome is a real and true lesson that I can share; it’s not lip service, it’s tangible transference of healing, for us both. .

I’ve been told by many, many fiends & health care providers that I practice self care like no other: I know my limits & take breaks as I need. Healing & mindfulness is a lifestyle for me, not just a trendy fad or something to make money on, & it’s something I’ve been practicing since I was diagnosed with the multiple death sentences relating to ovarian cancer beginning in 2001. So, although I have days & moments where the struggle is real (now manly because of the toxic mold I was exposed to in an apartment I was living in), I also know when to say no & when to say yes, & if I get it wrong, for whatever reasons, my intention for health is so strong, the Divine has my back & makes the way clear for my highest good. Plus, as you are well aware, things will always arise, health waxes & wanes, stresses come & go, so there is no time like the present, it’s now or never. .

A lot of yoga is rigid, linear, focusing on discipline and force, with the goal of transcendence away from the body and the emotions. Feminine Form yoga 👆🏼 is derived from Tantric philosophy which seeks to enable the individual to experience the Universe through the human body. This style of yoga is full of receptivity and vulnerability, there’s softening, intuition, tamas, earth. This is movement expressions that are held in the masculine structure. Like water, held in a glass. .

Feminine qualities have been thought to be weaknesses to overcome or dominate thus the feminine expression has been squelched, controlled, silenced. For me, I say: No more.💥

Feminine Form isn’t adopting masculine aggression and war, feminine form is pausing, waiting, sometimes fierce, sometimes angry, yes, but fluid, changing, yielding... water... we already know how strong we are (or we are remembering and reminding ourselves), we don’t have to prove our strength, we wait and let the flowy, blissful movement make way...

These body’s are more bacteria than human cells. 🤯 As I continue to recover from the mold toxicity, I have moments/days where my mind is so scattered and I’m so fatigued, I feel near crazy... seriously, and it’s due to bacterial imbalances in this body. It’s rough to say the least. Besides the numerous physical things I am doing to help right the bacteria in my body, meditation is foundational... It’s trippy to consider that these body’s could really just be hosts for micro-organisms, and perhaps that is what being human is... 🌀 And, I return to my breath... steady in, steady out. The thoughts whirl, and I ground myself again and again, breath in, breath out. Yes, I pray, yes, I’m paying lots of money and spending lots of time seeing doctors all over this state, studying, preparing the best organic foods, exercising, and, waiting... waiting... resting... I am doing enough. I am doing enough. This too shall pass. This too shall pass. Breath in. Breath out. .

But the claw our way back into the belly
Of the sacred, sensual animal dance
The unhinged, unplugged, cat is out of its box dance
The holding the precious moment in the palms
Of our hands and feet dance.

Not the jiffy booby, shake your booty for him dance
But the wring the sadness from our skin dance
The blow the chip off our shoulder dance.
The slap the apology from our posture dance.

Not the monkey see, monkey do dance

but the grave robber, tomb stalker

The shed dead cells and slip into
The luminous skin of love dance.

But the meeting of the trinity, the body breath and beat dance

The mother may I?
Yes you may take 10 giant leaps dance

Where the kingdom’s collide
In the cathedral of flesh
